Burfdayyyys.

Birthday's are weird to me. It's a celebration and all of the attention is on you. I am not the kind of person who does well with being at the center of attention. So, Monday (which was my birthday) was rough at times because I would get overwhelmed by all of the attention. I know everyone had good intentions it was just personal struggles. Once I would get calm, I would just be in awe of God. Why? Because, He has surrounded me with an amazing community here at Ecola. The people here genuinely care about not only me but everyone. Simply put Monday I felt loved.

And with the amount of love I felt the other day, I believe every person needs to feel the embrace and comfort of being loved... being known... being cared for. If you pause and look around at the world that surrounds you, you will see people longing to be loved. Their facial expressions may tell you or it may be their personalities that tell you. As Christians, we are called to love. You see being a disciple of Christ means we no longer are self-focused. We become more concerned about other people. The kid in the corner or the homeless person on the street well we begin to notice them.

People are beautiful. And each person deserves to be loved.
So, take your eyes off yourself and go love someone.
Do some awesome random act of kindness like buying the person behind you their coffee.

Anyways, that is my random blurb. I had a lovely birthday thanks to some pretty amazing people God has placed into my life. Here are some pictures. Enjoy. :)
