A lil' trip to the city.

Yesterday afternoon a friend invited me to go to the Portland International Rose Test Garden along with her friend. The drive to Portland was lovely as usual and filled with great conversation. I was looking forward to discovering a new gem about this city. Annnnd well let me just say the rose garden was one of the most enchanting, beautiful, peaceful, places I have ever been. Oh, and the sweet smells that arose from this stunning place are just indescribable.

After the rose garden, the gals took me to the infamous 23rd Ave. We went to Red Onion for dinner. I love Thai food especially Pad Thai and their Pad Thai was mighty good! My taste buds were left satisfied. We left room for dessert in which I was finally introduced to the most talked about ice cream shop, Salt & Straw. I loved everything about this ice cream shop! The atmosphere. The people. AND the ice cream. Buuuut that's a given right? Ha.
