Summer Ministry Team

The sun is shining, the waves are crashing, and school is out. My second year of Ecola seems to have flown by. I feel like I was just arriving into Cannon Beach yesterday...

Last year at Ecola a foundation of faith was laid. My eyes were opened to much and my heart was softened. God began to teach me about his faithfulness, his provision, and the healing that can be found in him.

The foundation of my faith has become much more solidified in this second year at Ecola. This year was solely to draw closer to the Lord as he taught and is continually teaching me more about a lifestyle in ministry. God is refining me in new means. His grace is impacting my life in a transforming way. People matter and each person's story is worth listening to. Ultimately God is continually asking me the question: 

Will you trust me?

Countless times God reminds me of the simplicity yet profound beauty of His love for me. He is trustworthy. So, I continue to let go of my life entrusting it into the care of my Papa. 

As I have let go of my plans for my life, God has allowed a summer ministry opportunity to come about. I have been chosen to be a part of a Summer Ministry Team (SMT). There are three others on this team God has orchestrated. We will be serving the Lord and representing Ecola at camps in the Northwest from June to August. We will assist each camp wherever the help is needed each week from counselors to work crews. I look forward to being able to apply all God has been teaching me in these past two years at Ecola.

I would love for you to be a part of my summer! There are two ways you can support my team and I.

1. Prayer.

• God will remain at the center of each of our lives. May our eyes, hearts, and minds be set on Him. Our desire is for Him to be glorified in all that we do.
• Safety as we travel from camp to camp.
• Health.
• Strength for when we become weary.
• Unity amongst our team.
• The camps we will be partnering with.
• The campers who will be attending.
• A vehicle. (If you or anyone you know has a vehicle for us to borrow for the summer please let me know!

2.  Financially.

• The cost for the summer will be: $300. (This will cover weekend meals, laundry, and other personal expenses.
• I am praying for 15 financial partners who can contribute $20 to cover my expenses.

God is allowing this exciting and adventurous summer ministry opportunity so I trust He will provide!
