Love God. Love People.: Be still.

This summer I am the team leader of the 4's and 5's group. Honestly it scares the crap out of me. This past week was rough.

Fear. Stress. Frustration. Exhaustion.

Each one destroyed me. I was feeling belittled. Worthless. Incapable of the task at hand. And then the moment happened. The moment of meeting with a friend. The moment of being still. The moment of hearing my Father's voice.

Be still, and know that I am God.

God has me here for a purpose. He has a plan for me as a team leader. Every battle is already won through Him. I need to remember to acknowledge His presence in each moment of the day good or bad. And in those moments give Him thanks.

I may not be the most confident person or the most outgoing but I know God can still use me. I have faith and I rest knowing that it's going to be okay.

God has revealed to me in the past few days His faithfulness to me. He has blessed me with an incredible team. They are blowing my mind. And I have been enjoying seeing their personalities be revealed. Each one of them has such a passion for these kiddos and I see God's light shine through each of them. I am looking forward to getting to know each one of them as this summer progresses. And God has helped me find the energy and strength I need for each day.

This past week has been rough but I wouldn't trade it for anything. It may sound strange but I have loved each challenge that has been thrown at me. God is stretching me and I am thankful for that. And God is revealing things in my life that I need to work on

Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of God's varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies - in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.
