In the midst of the madness summer brings I am learning to take a deep breath so I may be able to take in my surroundings. I feel like I have missed out on many moments this summer because I was not still. I had one of these moments yesterday. One of my co-workers did his lesson and it was on the life of Joseph. And for his lesson he tells it through a puzzle. He said a few things that really stuck out to me. In life we have challenges and hardships, people won't always agree with the choices we make. But it is really neat because even though we can't see the complete puzzle each of those hardships or pieces of the puzzle are crucial. Without those pieces the puzzle wouldn't be complete. I think about my relationship with Christ. I am learning that as I grow closer to the Lord and take more leaps of faith trusting Him, the more challenges arise. I am learning the beauty of these moments. I am confident knowing through each challenge I am not only growing closer to the Lord but He is shaping me to reflect Him. He is pruning me.
If you have a chance read about the life of Joseph. He went through a lot in life. You will find his story in the book of Genesis. And if you have time take a peek at John 15.
