Follow the yellow brick road, Annie Oakley.

Didn't I just return home? My time at home has been flying by. This weekend has been incredible.

My dad has Friday's off so we packed up the lil' PT Cruiser and headed to the grandparent's. We actually ended up seeing my brother first so he and my dad could sight in their rifles. It was fun to be with the guys. The day had a crisp, fall feel to it which made it that much better to be outdoors. I even got to shoot a little bit. I love coming from a family who loves the outdoors!

This picture I took made me think of a quote. I feel like it is a good reminder to move on. Enjoy.

"Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths."
Walt Disney

Saturday evening we had a family night. My brother and his wife were able to join my parents and I for a fun evening. We went out to the Montana Corn Maze near the Churchill area. We spent the evening getting lost, losing people (my mom), laughing to the point of a gut-ache and tears. Hands down this evening with my family was the BEST. I will forever treasure it.

As I reflect on this wonderful weekend, I thank God for these moments. The time here at home. The beauty that I am surrounded by. The blessing it is just to have a family who cares and loves for one another and that genuinely wants to be around one another.

Oh and while I have ya here. I have an update. God is good. I was able to find a flight to Oregon and a ride back to the beach. He turns every situation into a good one. And He truly does care for us. Which I don't know why I always doubt that. Guess I need to keep working on having faith and patience.

Have a relaxing evening all you lovely people.
And thank you for taking the time to read my blurbs. You guys seriously rock.
