Just allow these words to just sink in.
I don't know about you but these words are just so beautiful. All I want in this life is more of God. I want to be so in love with him that when people see me, they see him. I desire to see the world through his eyes and for my heart to break for the things that break his. I want to love people more passionately and to look past their flaws so that I may see their heart.
Anyways a little update on my life. I have been in Cannon Beach for exactly fifteen days. Studying the Bible here at Ecola has been so incredible. I am truly at a loss of words. God is good. I can't imagine not being here. I can't imagine not meeting the people I have met. I can't imagine not falling more in love with Jesus.
For our second week of classes we studied the books of Romans and James. Dang. So stinkin' good. Romans was pretty intense. If you think about it, a week really isn't much time to study such an intense book of the Bible. Our teacher for Romans was full of so much wisdom and well to be honest he kind of intimidated me. James was well... I really have no words. I connected to this book on such a personal note. I had never read a book of the Bible so intensely. It amazes me how no matter how many times you read the Bible, God will allows reveal something new about his character to you. I encourage you to take the time to read these two books this week. I know I have a new perspective a lot of stuff.
Bible school is where my heart is. To think it has only been two weeks is crazy to me because what I have experienced in these two weeks will just continue throughout the year. I am so excited. I can't thank God enough for allowing me to take a year to dive deep into his word.
